Robbinsville Man Wins Big at Parx Casino Poker Tournament

As I was scrolling through my Facebook, I was shocked to see on the Robbinsville Township page that a Robbinsville man had won big at Parx Casino. It's not everyday that you hear about a local person winning anything big. Lol.

Jim "Bagel" Lillis of Robbinsville won almost $100,000 ($94,456 to be exact) last night in the Parx Big Stax 300 No Limit Hold 'Em poker tournament. Whoa. The post says he beat out 2,293 other players to claim the champ title.

He used to play poker professionally, but, because he has a baby on the way, he went back to having a more traditional job recently, and now this. Crazy. He's made over a half a million in his career so far. I've got to learn how to play poker. Lol.

Reading through the Facebook comments, community members were realizing that Jim is the son of the owner of Jim's Bagel Loft (Jim Jr.) Jim thanked everyone for their well wishes and posted that he hopes to have his own bagel store of his own, in the area,  someday.
