Save the Date for an Oscars Viewing Party in Center City

Happy awards season! The 92nd Academy Awards is right around the corner and it's time to start planning your viewing party. People all over the world will be hosting Oscars watch parties. However, you and your friends can pretend you are actually at the Awards show at a glamours event in Philly. Even though the Academy Awards are  taking place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, the Philadelphia Film Center is inviting all movie lovers to come there.

Come dressed up in your glamorous outfit, walk the red carpet and watch the award show on the big screen television. Drinks will be provided as well as appetizers. There will also be a silent auction and special prizes given away. General admission is only $60. If you and your party would like to upgrade to VIP, tickets are $200.

This 21 and older event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 9,  starting at 6 p.m. VIP ticket holders will be able to get in at 5.
