If you've ever been to Shady Brook Farm's Holiday Light Show (and who hasn't in this area?), you know how spectacular it is. You drive through miles of Christmas lights, while listening to Christmas music on their radio station. PST's even in lights. Look for it near the end of the ride. You can even take a hayride through the lights...a great way to experience them, if you're bundled up.

They're magazine worthy, right?  Sure! That's why Travel & Leisure magazine has put Shady Brook Farm on their list of the Best Holiday Lights in Every State.

Although, I had to laugh when I realized that they're listed as New Jersey's best lights. Huh? Shady Brook Farm is in Yardley, Pennsylvania. I mean, it's close to New Jersey, right over the bridge, you know, that bridge that's been under construction FOREVER, but, it's not in New Jersey. Ooops. For Pennsylvania, they named the light display on the 1600 block of South 13th street in Philly as best in the state.

I'm a Jersey Girl, and I'll gladly claim Shady Brook Farm for my home state, but, it's actually a short drive from NJ. I love it there. If you haven't been, it's a must. After the ride, make sure you hop out of your car and hit the market with Santa, and lots of holiday stuff. You can also have a beer at their Stone's Throw Pub, and sit by the outdoor firepits and make s'mores. So fun. Tis the season to be jolly.
