The season of giving is here and multiple police departments in Bucks County have teamed up to bring a smile to families in need this holiday season.

BucksCountyCouriersTimes.com mentioned that police officers in Bucks County are planning to take children out shopping with them for "Shop with a Cop" this December.

Melissa Robison, a police officer from Middletown, told BucksCountyCouriersTimes.com that there is actually a waiting list of children to be part of the "Shop with a Cop" event. It was also mentioned that Robison has reached out to multiple businesses in the area for donations and they have contributed "big time."

All participating police officers are donating 100% of their time to "Shop with a Cop" this Sunday, December 1, at the Target in Middletown.

According to BucksCountyCouriersTimes.com, these are the other locations where "Shop with a Cop" will be held.

Plumstead police at Hilltown Walmart on Dec. 9.

Quakertown police at Walmart in Richland on Dec. 12.

Bristol Borough police at Tullytown Walmart on Dec. 21.

No one will be getting paid for this good deed, which makes it even more special.
