You'll notice an empty store in Quakerbridge Mall and MarketFair soon, as news comes from The Patch that children's clothing stores, Gymboree, will be closing. The Lawrenceville & West Winsdor locations are't the only ones closing. All of the remaining 900 stores will shut down, as Gymboree files bankruptcy for the second time in two years.

I'm bummed. Gymboree was one of my go-to places for baby gifts for my friends. I just bought the most adorable baby sweater there not too long ago. It was a nice place to shop - never crowded, which could have led to this problem. The article stated Gymboree has "struggled to remain afloat against increased online competition."

They filed for bankruptcy back in July 2017 for the first time, and closed 350 stores. But, it hasn't helped. The company has higher end brands - Janie and Jack and Crazy 8. By selling off the Gymboree stores, those other stores may be saved from liquidation. We'll see.
