The store suffered major flood damage.

Beginning one week after the remnants of Hurricane Ida hit New Jersey, the state said it has provided 2,400 free or discounted Uber or Lyft rides to date.

The store will be fully stocked again.

The city has been recognized as a "significant site" within the state's official disaster declaration, and its county of Hunterdon is one of 11 in New Jersey approved for federal aid so far.

Essex, Hudson, Mercer and Union counties were added to the declaration that already included Bergen, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Passaic and Somerset.

Gov. Phil Murphy, others pressing President Joe Biden to expand his disaster declaration for New Jersey flooding.

The offer is good through Sunday.

The remnants of Hurricane Ida as affected many and the Newtown Atheltic Club is offering a helping hand to those in need.

Parts of Trenton, NJ are under a mandatory evacuation order as severe flooding is taking place.
