NBC 10's Chief Meteorologist, Tammi Souza, has left the television station, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

So if you've been thinking to yourself that someone's missing from the NBC10 weather team lately, you're right.

An NBC10 spokesperson confirmed that her last day was last Friday, December 6th. The statement was short and simple saying, "We thank her for her time with the First Alert Weather team."

Since the statement didn't really indicate whether she left or was let go, I did a little more digging. The Philadelphia Business Journal says that the TV station did not renew her contract.

Souza, herself, hasn't commented on her exit.

Tammie had been at NBC10 for almost three years, replacing meteorologist Sheena Parveen, who left for a new weather gig in Washington.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed that some of the weather & news broadcasters move around to other local stations, so, I'll have to keep my eye out for her to see if and where she lands in the area.

Good luck Tammie, I enjoyed watching you.
