The Six Flags’ Coffin Challenge has Crowned a Winner
Six Flags Great Adventure has been doing a contest for a few years now that has caught national attention. It's called the 30 hour Couples Coffin Challenge, and yes, it's exactly how it sounds. Six 'couples' are chosen to spend 30 hours in a coffin with no technology allowed. There were break times given where participants can check their technology devices, use the bathroom and have a meal, but other than those times, participants must stay in their coffins. I would never last just because I have to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes.
According to NJ.com, a winner was crowned earlier this week and she totally deserved it. Amanda Roberts is 31 years old and loves Halloween won the top prize in the contest. Not only did she stay in her coffin for the required 30 hours, but she also ate and participated in some pretty gross eating contests to help her win. She took home the grand prize which includes, $600, Six Flags season passes for next year, and to remember the challenge forever, a small coffin just like the one she stayed in for 30 hours.

By the way, I found that another Six Flags park (Six Flags Great America in Baltimore/Washington, D.C.) actually had couples stay in their coffins for 30 hours. That may be more challenging for some people to stay with their partner.
