The Travel Channel released it's picks for 'Most Charming Towns' in America and Lambertville NJ made the list.

If you're from the area you already know how picturesque Lambertville is. It's a cute, small city that sits on the Delaware River with beautiful architecture that has a population of about 4,000 people. There's no doubt on why it was chosen as New Jersey's most charming town.

So basically what the Travel Channel did was pick one small town per state and what the experts fell in love with was the fact that, "it's the antiques capital of the state, and home to many artists and crafters." according to patch.com.

The Travel Channel said, "The Antiques Capital of New Jersey," Lambertville is home to a variety of talented artists and crafters whose shops and galleries sit alongside the scenic Delaware River. This town of 4,000 residents, founded in 1705, also boasts federal townhouses and Victorian homes, a restored 19th-century train depot, Zagat-rated restaurants and award-winning hotels and B&Bs. Shoppers can find treasures at The People's Store Antiques and Design Center and other shops on Bridge, Main and Union Streets via patch.com.

Lambertville was also awards by Reader's Digest "best winter destination."
