VIDEO: Serious Accident Closes Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville Early Saturday

A serious accident in Feasterville-Trevose shut down a busy stretch of Bridgetown Pike for several hours earlier today (Saturday, October 5).

Footage from the accident scene was shared by the Lower Southampton Fire Department on Facebook. Both power lines and a sign for a shopping mall were damaged in the crash, which involved a pick-up truck.

The fire department confirmed that the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. PECO repaired the wires in the area.

The accident appeared to happen right outside of the Big Sam's Pizza location, near Buck Road.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, and the accident remains under investigation, according to authorities.
