If you know me, you know I'm a big fan of the Hallmark Channel. I just love all of the feel good movies, especially the Christmas-themed ones, where everyone lives happily ever after. They're such a great escape from this big, bad world.

Cape May Point was seen in the new Hallmark movie, Absolutely Devoted to You

Every now and then, I get super excited when I spot local scenery while watching a movie, and it just happened again over the weekend. On the August 8th premiere of "Absolutely Devoted to You," starring one of my favorite Hallmark stars, Kimberley Sustad, you're treated to a beautiful view of Cape May Point, New Jersey.

The famous Cape May Lighthouse can be seen from above, and a gorgeous shot of the ocean. I shouted to my husband, "There's Cape May," as he scrolled on his phone, not paying attention to the movie at all. Ha ha. He did catch a glance of it, though.

Afterwards, I did a quick Google search to see if anyone else saw what I did, and whether it was in fact Cape May Point. Although, I'm a Jersey Girl through and through, so was positive it was.

From what I read, the cast and crew did not actually film any of the movie in Cape May Point, but a quick shot from there was used in the movie, which is about a TV producer's plan to reunite a 90s boy band for a summer beach bash.

This isn't the first time that area's been spotted in a Hallmark Movie. I've also seen a shot of Cape May in "Christmas at the Golden Dragon."
