It was a wild weekend for Taylor Swift, as the Pennsylvania native came home to our area for a pair of sold out shows at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

During Saturday’s show (July 14), the 28-year-old superstar experienced a bit of a stage malfunction. The “Gorgeous” singer handled the incident like a pro.

As part of the show, Swift was supposed to be transported from the main stage to a stage at the back of the stadium. Her mode of transportation? A sparkly basket that was supposed to fly over the crowd.

About midway through the song, Taylor realized something was wrong when the basket had barely moved.

“I’m pretty sure I’m stuck up here. It’s a nice view,” Swift said before finishing her performance of “Delicate" from the basket.

As you can see in the footage above, Taylor was lowered back to the ground, but she wasn’t sure what to do next.

The singer never missed a beat. As you can see above, she continued to banter with the audience. Plus, Swift even performed an unplanned a capella version of “Our Song," which had the stadium singing along.

Luckily, a different flying basket would ultimately take Swift to the another stage at back of the stadium. As she flew overhead, she treated the audience to an unplanned performance of “Wildest Dreams.”
