Why’s Being Single In New Jersey So Expensive?

This great news for someone like me who is single and lives in New Jersey. Dating is expensive. I knew that already, but once I saw the breakdown of what the average date in the United States costs verse the average date in NJ costs...my wallet and I both started crying.

According the article I read on NJ.com took a few things into calculating their average date costs. So they found that the average cost of a date in New Jersey for a dinner for two, a bottle of wine and two movie tickets costs $259.60. The national average cost of a date in the U.S. is $102.32.

Dating is worth it, but why does it have to be so expensive in my home state :(
