Yuengling Just Introduced a New Low Carb Beer
Earlier today, Pennsylvania brewery, Yuengling ("America's Oldest Brewery") announced a new low carb beer called FLIGHT.
According to Yuengling, a bottle of FLIGHT has 95 calories and 2.6 grams of carbs. FLIGHT joins Yeungling's 2 other low-calorie beers - Yeungling Light and Yuengling Light Lager.
Country music singer and former American Idol contestant, Lauren Alaina, has been named an "Ambassador" for FLIGHT.
In a statement,
Jennifer Yuengling, Vice President of Operations, said that her family's company had "spent more than a year perfecting FLIGHT."
Low-carb beers have gained in popularity over the last few years. FLIGHT joins other low-carb beers like Michelob Ultra and Corona Premier.
Yuengling says that FLIGHT, which will be available in 12-ounce bottles starting in March, is just one of several "exciting announcements: coming in 2020.
