Lawrence residents will be happy to hear that another store will be opening in the Lawrence Shopping Center soon. The new tenant is AutoZone, according to Lawrence Municipal Manager, Kevin Nerwinski.

The announcement was on the Lawrence Twp., NJ Community Facebook page. No word on placement of the store within the shopping center, or a grand opening date.

The Lawrence Shopping Center on Route 1, across from Colonial Bowling & Entertainment, has recently gotten new owners, undergone a facelift, and attracted some new stores, like a bakery, ax throwing place, pet store, barber shop, a consignment shop, just to name a few. Some of the facebook comments suggest AutoZone would be a welcomed addition. You may be thinking, ok, but, what about the old Acme? What's going in that space?  Lawrence residents are hoping for a new grocery store, pronto, but, sorry....no word on that yet.

AutoZone is an autoparts & auto accessories store, with tools, equipments, fluids, chemicals and more. Check out their website.  It's not new to the area with other locations in Hamilton, Trenton, Bordentown, Morrisville, Fairless Hills, and Bristol.
