Azalea Festival Back for 2022 in Hamilton, NJ

This is exciting news. After three years, the Azalea Festival is back at Sayen Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, according to the township's Facebook page.

Save the date. It's going to be Saturday, May 7th from 10am - 4pm. You'll love it. Your camera will be working overtime, trust me. The azaleas and more beautiful bushes, flowers, and trees will make a beautiful background for pictures. There are over a quarter of a million azaleas, rhododendron, dogwood, and more.

If you've never been, it's a breathtaking sight. I had my wedding pictures taken in Sayen Gardens years ago. It was right after the Azalea Festival (my anniversary is May 19th) and many were still in bloom and my pictures are absolutely beautiful.

You'll stroll on the paths through the colorful gardens...there are gazebos, ponds with fountains, bridges, and more for you to see. There will be crafters, vendors, music, activities for the kids, food trucks, and you'll be able to take a tour through the Sayen House.

Sayen Botanical Gardens is located at 155 Hughes Drive, Hamilton Township, New Jersey (Mercer County). It's near Nottingham Volunteer Fire Company.

Cross your fingers for nice weather. The rain date is Sunday, May 8th...yes, Mother's Day...Mom would love the gardens if you don't have plans.
