Baseball legend, and former Philadelphia Phillies star, Pete Rose, will be appearing at the Doylestown Bookshop this Thursday, June 6th at 7pm, to sign copies of his new book, Play Hungry: The Making of a Baseball Player.

In the book, he covers everything from his biggest moments to his biggest controversies, and according to the bookshop's website, there are some stories in the book that have never been told before.

If you want to meet him, here's the deal: You have to buy the book through Doylestown Bookshop. They're recommending you pre-order it, as buying a copy is the only way to guarantee you a spot in line. Although, there will be some extras on hand for you to buy that night.

A note on their website says that when you pre-order the book, put in the comments section of the order whether you're coming to the event or would only like for it to be signed and shipped to you after the in-store event.

Some other event rules from the bookshop:

1. He'll only be signing copies of his new book, no other memorabilia.

2. He will personalize the books, but, not write messages.

3. No posed pictures.
