It's Reunion Weekend at Princeton University and there are many events that are open to the public, including a parade and fireworks.

According the Princeton Alumni website, Reunion Weekend events date back to the late-1800's.  Today, the weekend "attracts almost 25,000 alumni, family and friends for walks, talks, community service projects" and more.

The highlight of Reunion Weekend is the P-rade, which features the Princeton University Band and alumni members marching, including The Old Guard, which are graduates of The Class of 1954 and before.

This year's P-rade is happening Saturday starting at 2 pm.  Click here to see the P-rade staging map.

Reunion Weekend will also feature live music by bands and DJ's representing the past 60+ years.  Click here for a list of performers.

At the 1996 Reunion Weekend, a fireworks display was added and has continued every year since.  This year's fireworks will happen on Saturday at 9 pm.  There will be special "fireworks viewing areas" and Princeton Stadium will also be open for spectators.  You can find more details here.

It should also be noted that Reunion Weekend will cause certain roads in Princeton to be closed, so plan accordingly.
