Blueberry Muffins Could Be NJ’s Future State Muffin
If you wen't aware, like I wasn't until reading this nj.com post, New Jersey is once of the 44 states that doesn't have a state muffin.
But this could change soon thanks to this 12-year-old new jerseyan. Her mother just so happens to be on the chair of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), and they proposed a bill that might just make the blueberry muffin, NJ's state muffin.
FYI ... this should totally be a thing!
Not for nothing but blueberries are NJ's offical state fruit, so this flavor only makes sense. New Jersey is basically the "Blueberry Capital of the World."
I say, why not!?
