Boo at the Zoo Opens this Weekend at Elmwood Park

We are getting into the holiday season and kicking it off with some spooky events all October long. There is something for everyone and this time it’s for the kids. Elmwood Park Zoo is hosting this event every week in October.

Kids and their families have the opportunity to get dressed up in their costumes and take a look through history. Boo at the Zoo features an exhibit that showcases animals that have gone extinct as well as trick or treating throughout the park. Besides the extinction exhibit, you’ll get to meet and greet some more lively animals. You can also enter into a costume contest, enjoy some live entertainment, and feast on festive food and drinks.

This family friendly jamboree begins the weekend of October 12. 2019 and goes until October 27, 2019 from 12:00pm-4:00pm. For those of you who have a small business or are really in the spirit of the spook, you can apply to become a vendor and give families a nice afternoon out.
