Celebrity Chef’s Restaurant Now Open in Bucks County

The wait is over, celebrity chef, Jose Garces, has officially opened his restaurant in New Hope.

The Patch says it's called Stella by Jose Garces and it's first day of business was last Saturday.  For you locals, it's located in the renovated Ghost Light Inn, near the Bucks County Playhouse. The views of the river can't be beat. It's intimate with only a 65 seat dining room, 40 seats out on the beautiful patio overlooking the water, a small bar, and a private room for about 150 people.

I have to be honest, I hadn't heard of Jose Garces before, so I googled him and it turns out he won the second season of The Next Iron Chef. He's done very well in the restaurant business so far. He has a bunch of restaurants in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. Be on the lookout, you may spot him around Bucks County...he owns a 40 acre organic farm there, and has a weekend home.

Cool fact: Stella's menu features meals made from local ingredients from local farms, with Jose adding his flair.
