New Jose Garces Restaurant Opening Soon in New Hope

In 2016, celebrity chef, Jose Garces, announced that he would be opening a restaurant in New Hope, PA.  Now, three years later, the restaurant looks ready to open in May of this year, at least according to an ad on Craigslist.

The ad says that Stella's by Jose Garces is looking for managers and chefs --- specifically Beverage Manager, Service Manager, Chef de Cuisine, and Sous Chef.

According to Philly Magazine, the small plates American restaurant will be located at the Bucks County Playhouse.

The Garces Group currently includes 13 restaurants (centered primarily in Philadelphia), according to the company's website.  Those restaurants include:

• Buena Onda (Philadelphia);
• Distrito (Philadelphia and Atlantic City);
• JG Domestic (Philadelphia);
• Okatshe (Atlantic City);
• Olon (Atlantic City);
• Ortzi NYC (New York City);
• The Olde Bar (Philadelphia);
• Tinto (Philadelphia);
• Village Whiskey (Philadelphia);
• Volver (Philadelphia)

In 2009, Garces won Season 2 of The Next Iron Chef on Food Network.
