Drag Queen Quiz Night Thursday at Princeton Elks Lodge

Grab your friends for a night out. Drag Queen Quiz Night is this Thursday (May 16th) at the Princeton Elks Lodge.

If you're thinking to yourself, "What the heck is a Drag Queen Quiz Night?", you're not alone. I had no idea until I read about it on Patch.

You may have guessed, there are performances by drag queens (which are very trendy right now on shows like RuPaul's Drag Race), and a six-round trivia quiz covering all sorts of topics like history, literature, movies, music, and entertainment.

If it was just music and entertainment, I may have a fighting chance, but I'm not so sure about the history and literature part.

The people you sit at a table with will be your team for the night (tables will have eight seats).  Hopefully, you'll get seated with some smarties... or you can bring some along with you, and form your own team.

Who knows, you may do better after a drink or two. Beer and wine will be for sale, soft drinks too. There will be a silent auction, door prizes (you get a free door prize ticket when you buy your admission ticket), and sweet treats.

Go on out and have some fun for a great cause. All proceeds will go to I Support the Girls - Central/South New Jersey. They make sure homeless or displaced women and girls in Mercer County and surrounding areas have the essentials for everyday life.
