Drink and Take Selfies with Santa at The Shops at Liberty Place
Come out to an event where you can take selfies, drink alcohol and celebrate the Christmas season all for a charitable cause. The Shops at Liberty Place will be hosting their "Sips and Selfies" event every Saturday in December. Instead of having a professional photograph take your photos with Santa, you and your friends can take your own selfies on you smartphone.
Santa will be sitting on his throne in front of a huge 45 foot Christmas tree while different holiday characters make appearances here and there. Once you take your selfie with Santa you will be encouraged to upload that photo to Instagram using the hashtag #DecktheShops.
According to Philly Voice, The Shops at Liberty Place will donate $1 for each selfie posted and tagged (up to $1,000) to Cradles to Crayons, a local non-profit dedicated to providing children living in low-income situations with essential items.
Drinks will be available as well. If you are 21 and older alcoholic beverages such a a peppermint mojito, a spiced cranberry mule and hot mulled cider will be available for purchase for 10 dollars. More details below!
