An 8-year-old West Chester student got a visit from Alshon Jeffery after writing a sweet letter to him about the Philadelphia Eagles loss.

The second grader, Abigail Johnson was assigned a creative writing project and she dedicated her assignment to writing a letter to the Eagles wide receiver, Alshon Jeffery about being positive about the losing because you don't always have to win.

Jeffery was visibly upset after the loss that cost the Eagles their Super Bowl slot, and he verbally expressed it after the game, "I gotta catch that ball. That’s on me, I’ll take that loss. I let all my teammates down. To the City of Philadelphia, that’s on me. I’ll take that," Jeffery said via NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Abigail's words must have hit a sweet spot for Jeffery because after this letter of encouragement basically went viral, Abigail and her classmates were in for an awesome treat. Yes, Alshon Jeffery took some time to visit Starkweather Elementary School and meet the students.

Very cool!
