Free Parking in Princeton for the Holiday Season

Grab your list head into downtown Princeton to do your holiday shopping this year, because there's free metered parking all holiday season long, according to a post on the Princeton, NJ Goverment Facebook page.

I hate to admit it, but, sometimes I stay away from shopping in Princeton because those meters can be a hassle. Here are the details: There will be free parking for ALL spaces with meters after 6pm Monday - Friday, and all day Sunday, starting on Thanksgiving, this Thursday, November 28th, and going all the way through Christmas day, Wednesday, December 25th. Wow. That's great news.

Princeton's great for your Instagram this time of year...lol....any time of year really, but, especially this time of year. You can pose with your friends in front of the big, beautiful Christmas tree in Palmer Square or the town Menorah, and if you need an after shopping snack spot, I love the Yankee Doodle Tap Room for casual drinks and pub grub, plus, for your sweet tooth, who can resist the Bent Spoon, Milk and Cookies, or House of Cupcakes? Not me.
