H2O Bagel Cafe & Deli Now Open in Lawrence

Did you know there's a new bagel cafe in the area? H2O Bagel Cafe and Deli just opened in Lawrence about 2 months ago, and is ready to serve you. Stop on your way to work.

It's on Quakerbridge Road in the Glendale Plaza strip mall, where Glendale Discount Liquors and Salan Cusato are. I didn't even know about it until one of my friends told me she had stopped by for breakfast and liked it, so wanted to spread the word that it was open. It seems like a nice place to meet a friend for some coffee, a smoothie, and some breakfast or lunch. There's a nice outdoor area, which would be great to enjoy while the weather's still nice.

Curious about it, I called over there, and Carla, the owner, answered, and was just lovely to chat with. She told me that she serves breakfast and lunch. Everything is fresh & homemade, like the breakfast sandwiches, soups, salads (macaroni, potato, cole slaw), apple cider, and, of course, bagels. She makes her own cream cheese too. Yum. She told me that if you're craving a certain flavor and she has the ingredients, she'll whip it up for you. She also serves deli sandwiches on fresh kaiser and hoagie rolls, and coming soon, you'll be able to buy cheeses and coldcuts by the pound.

She sounded super excited about her new business venture, so stop by and support her. The food all sounds delicious. It's definitely catching on, with one Facebook review saying, "Awesome food and a great owner, who will make sure your meal is perfect!"

H2O Bagel Cafe and Deli is located at 4040 Quakerbridge Rd., Lawrence.

The hours are:

Monday - 7am - 2pm

Tuesday - Saturday 7am-4pm

Sunday - 8am - 2pm
