Yardley Man with Lawrence Roots To Be on American Ninja Warrior

Yardley resident, Mike Brecko, will get a taste of fame and compete on season 12 of American Ninja Warrior.

I know his mother, Cindy, and she says the entire family is thrilled and so proud of him. Mike grew up in Lawrence, and now lives in Yardley with his girlfriend, Noelle, and their daughter, Ellie.

So, how did he get this amazing opportunity? Well, about 60,000 people submitted 3 minute videos this season, showing their skills, and explaining why they should be given a chance to be the next American Ninja Warrior. Only 100 of those who entered were picked to compete in the Washington DC City Qualifiers on April 6th and 7th, and Mike was one of them.

His family will be traveling with him to cheer him on. How exciting. According to the website, it looks like that will be episode 2 of season 12. It will be filmed at the DC Armory.

Believe it or not, Mike has only been training for about a year at Centercourt Club and Sports on Spruce Street in Lawrence. He also coaches there part time as well.
