HomeFront, a local, fabulous non profit organization, helping families break the cycle of poverty in our area, have announced some holiday donation guidelines, according to their Facebook page. So, if you're thinking of donating, make sure you read this first.

Soon, it will be the season of giving, and HomeFront sincerely appreciates all of your donations, but, they can only accept so much, due to warehouse space.

The statement on their Facebook page reads:

"Due to holiday preparations, beginning December 3rd through the New Year we will be unable to accept donations of used clothing and housewares. The only clothing items will accept at that time will be winter coats and the only furniture donations that we will accept at that time will be mattresses, box springs, and frames, small dining room tables, and small bedroom dressers. Before December 3rd we will do our best to accommodate donations of used clothing and housewares but please know that when our daily capacity is reached, we may have to close the Donation Center to incoming in-kind donations. Thank you for understanding."

The HomeFront Donation Center is located at 1880 Princeton Avenue in Lawrenceville, NJ.
