The scary part about healthcare workers being on the frontlines of coronavirus, is that not only can they get infected, but they can also infect their families.
"The Nassau Inn is honored to offer support to the healthcare workers at Penn Medicine Princeton Health hospital the only way we know how," Lori Rabon the Vice President of Palmer Square and Nassau Inn said in a statement. "Whether the medical professionals are here from out of town to help the fight or just need a safe place to catch up on sleep and shower between shifts, we are here for them."
Of course, many healthcare workers have been taking drastic measures to not bring home germs, like sleeping in a separate area of the house, or not coming home at all. This is extremely sad, especially for those who have small children.
"We are deeply grateful to the Nassau Inn for helping our front line healthcare providers protect their families from possible exposure to COVID 19 and for providing a nearby respite in between their long shifts during this unprecedented public health crisis," Barry Rabner, the President and CEO, Penn Medicine Princeton Health said in a statement.
It's awesome that one of our favorite hotels in Princeton wants to help these healthcare workers out. We're all in this together.
