Ivy Tavern in Hamilton Having Goodbye Party this Sunday

It's a sad weekend in Hamilton. The beloved Ivy Tavern is officially closing down. Owners Elaine and Mike Russo have decided to sell the popular place that so many people came for drinks, dancing and just a good time. New owners are expected to take over in October.

To celebrate the many years of success this tavern had, the Russos are throwing a farewell party this Sunday.  “A toast to new beginnings for the Ivy Tavern. We appreciate all your patronage throughout the years. It’s been a great run and now it’s time for us to move on in our journey in life,”Elaine Russo said.

The celebration will be this Sunday, Sept. 29 from noon to midnight. There will be live music, cash bar, food and giveaways. For a list of all the bands performing throughout the day, click here!
