The Situation Will Be Released From Prison Earlier Than Expected
Jersey Shore star, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, should be getting out of prison any day now, according to News 12 New Jersey. I bet his wife, Lauren, and the rest of the Jersey Shore gang are happy and ready to celebrate.
Maybe all the "Free Sitch" T-shirts worked because he wasn't supposed to get out until September 13th, but a federal prison consultant has revealed that he's leaving earlier.
That doesn't mean he's completely off the hook. Most likely, he'll have to go to a halfway house until his original release date. Plus, he still will have 24 months of probation.
Sorrentino is currently finishing up 8 months at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution, in Otisville, New York. His wife and Jersey Shore castmates have been spotted visiting him there often over the last few months.
The Situation, who has sobered up and turned his life around, plead guilty to tax fraud, and admitted to hiding income back in 2011. His brother, Marc, was sentenced to two years in prison for doing the same thing.
