Attention Kmart shoppers, the Hamilton (Mercer County) store will soon be closing for good, due to the chain's ongoing financial troubles, according to Community News.

The only location left in our immediate area is at Kuser Road and White Horse Avenue. There are 3 other New Jersey locations in Somers Point, Wayne, and Wall Township.

Kmart is about the only thing left in that lagging shopping center. But, help is on the way. The Community News article revealed that a new Starbucks, with a drive thru, is going to be opening in the Kmart shopping center. When that happens, the Starbucks on White Horse Avenue will close. Now, they just need a great, new anchor store, and some other shops.

Bring on the bargains. The liquidation sale will kick off any day now, in mid-September, with the store planning to stay open until mid December. You can save a lot on your holiday shopping this year.

A sign of the times.
