‘Legally Blonde: The Musical’ is Playing in Philadelphia This Summer

You can spend your summer nights with Elle Woods, Bruser and all of your favorite Legally Blonde characters this summer.

Legally Blonde: The Musical will open at the Walnut Street Theatre on Tuesday, May 14. The show will run for two full months before wrapping on July 14.

If you’re a fan of the movie, you’ll probably love the musical. Just like the big screen version, the show will follow the transformation of Elle Woods from sorority girl to Harvard Law student.

Of course, some of the music from the stage show is a little over the top, but it’s a super fun soundtrack with tracks like “Omigod You Guys”:

Legally Blonde: The Musical has shows nightly (except Monday). With additional matinee performances on most Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the show’s run. Tickets can be purchased for as little as $57 on their website right now.

The Walnut Street Theater is located at 825 Walnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It is actually America's oldest theatre, and remain a non-profit institution to this day.
