Grace was selected and given the honor of leading Hamilton's 34th annual St. Patrick's Day parade Saturday, March 9th at 1pm. Though as exciting as the parade and the title of Miss St. Patrick is, it's more than just a crown, a sash and a trophy. It's a scholarship program that awarded Grace $2,000 to further her education, according to Hamilton Township's St. Patrick's Day Parade website.

Miss Conboy was selected by the St. Patrick Parade and Scholarship Committee at Hamilton because she wowed them with her commitment to her studies and her pride of her Irish heritage. Grace's biography on the parade's website mentioned that is an AP and Honors Student, a member of the National Honor Society, the communications director for the Student Government at Notre Dame High School, a campus minister and a peer leader. She's even a member of the Madrigal Choir, has Irish danced for 9 years, and can be seen in her high school's musical production of Guys and Dolls.
