New Hope’s Popular Gay-Friendly Resort, The Raven, Is Under New Ownership

The Raven is getting new owners, but don’t worry about resulting in too many changes for the popular New Hope hotspot.

The New Hope Free Press reports that the Raven was purchased by Gateway to New Hope, LLC. The group is also the developers of the nearby River House at Odette’s.

As for big changes to the venue, not much will change in the immediate future. In fact, according to the New Hope Free Press, Gateway plans to lease the venue back to its current operator, Sam Ambani, who will continue to serve as manager.

It’s not clear how much the property was sold for, but the Raven was listed at $5.9 million last year, according to real estate records. We searched property records, but haven’t seen a finalized deal just yet in the local records.

The sale is expected to be finalized later this month, but as far as we’ve seen in published reports from Patch & the New Hope Free Press, Gateway to New Hope, LLC doesn’t have any immediate plans for developments or changes to the venue right now.

Gateway to New Hope, LLC's other property, the River House at Odette's, is expected to open in "early 2020," according to their website.

The Raven, located at 385 West Bridge Street in New Hope, is known for its restaurant, bar, dancefloor, and popular summer pool.
