We talked a lot about how N95 masks are the only real way to help protect yourself from COVID. Cloth masks are nothing more than covering your face with a T-shirt.  I am happy to see that many local businesses are stepping up and helping to distribute free N95 masks and today we can add one more to the list.

Wegmans had this message today on their official website:

Wegmans is pleased to participate in the federal mask distribution program to make adult N95 masks available to the public, free of charge. The masks are now available at all Wegmans locations, with a limit of three masks per person, while supplies last.

Check with your local store to find out when they will be handing them out because times may vary by store.

the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is supplying the stores with the supplies.  As of right now most Wegmans should be fully stocked.

I also talked with you about how to spot a counterfeit N95 or KN95 mask.  If you need a refresher on there click here. I also talked about why we need to brace ourselves because the government is finally saying what most of us knew forever.  Read about that here.

Three masks will not last forever. In fact, you should get about a week max from each mask.  This free offer if good for three per person so that will help curb things a bit.  Hopefully, after the free distribution folks will continue to wear the N95s to really get ahead of COVID once and for all.

Of course, wiping things down helps too but whatever you do, don't use wipes on these items!
