NJ E-Z Pass Holders Might Scrap Their $50 Late Fee
NJ E-Z Pass is facing some major lawsuits regarding their expensive late fines.
The lawsuit states that the New Jersey Turnpike Authority has been charging drivers a $50 fee since 2011. There has been over 3 million drivers who have been overcharged.
Customers are outraged and demand that E-Z Pass change their late fine to its originally amount of $25. Although one of E-Z Pass's spokesperson argues that the violation is reasonable.
The lawsuit will be viewed in a state appeals court and federal court demanding a roll back of the fees.
