You know that old, run down diner, The USA Country Diner,  on Route 130 in Robbinsville? Good news. It's being renovated and will reopen as a new eatery, according to TAPinto Hamilton/Robbinsville.

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I remember going there when it was Jim's Country Diner years ago. It was a great place to have dinner. One section of it had an old fashioned diner feel. Another section had more of a restaurant atmosphere (that's where I had dinner with my family often on Saturday nights). Then, there was a bar (I was never old enough to go in there. lol).

It hasn't been open in over 10 years, and now, the Robbinsville Township Council is revealing plans to give it a facelift and open its doors once again, making it a great restaurant once again.  Yay.

Not many details are available right now about the future restaurant, except that the developer is Akal Estates, LLC.

I'm so happy about this. Right now, it's such an eyesore. Can't wait for the new place.
