Fall is coming to Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA, soon. The annual scarecrow display will be up from September 9th until October 27th, so says The Patch. It's the start of my two favorite times of the year at Peddler's Village, fall and the holidays.

Wow. This is the 40th year scarecrows have been on display at Peddler's Village, according to their website. My parents used to take us as kids to see them every year...ahhh, the memories. I've been a bunch of times over the years. I love it. We start holiday shopping and grab something to eat at our favorite village restaurant, Hart's Tavern.

You still have time to enter the scarecrow competition. The deadline for entries is September 4th. You can check out the details and categories HERE. You could win up to $350.

During the scarecrow display the Scarecrow Festival will be September 14th and 15th from 10am - 6pm. Bring your family and friends. The Patch says there will be scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment, children's activities, and more.

Get there. It's going to be fun.
