WHOA! We've heard a few reports this week that pumpkin spice lattes (PSL)'s are already available at some Starbucks across our area. We've also heard that Dunkin is serving some pumpkin treats at some locations in our area.

In fact, a friend told me today (August 16) that her roommate purchased a PSL, which she purchased from a Starbucks in Mercer County.

Plus, Lyss in Hamilton chatted with us on the PST app to say that she saw pumpkin spice treats at the Dunkin' in Hamilton Township.

Earlier this month, we learned that both Starbucks and Dunkin' would be unveiling their pumpkin-flavored treats incredibly early.

Starbucks, meanwhile, is expected to officially launch their fall offerings about a week later (on Tuesday, August 27), according to a report from Business Insider.

However, as things often go: it looks like some of these products are already available in stores across our area. It makes sense if you think about it, right? Both coffee chains have to ship ingredients to the local stores, and that must be an intense process.

Once a store has the ingredients available, who is to stop them from serving it? Well, it's going to be in the 90s this weekend (with heat indexes nearing 100 degrees on Sunday). So maybe it is too soon for a PSL? What do you think?
