Surprise…White Claw Is Not New Jersey’s Favorite Hard Seltzer

When I saw an article on joybird.com titled "The Most Popular Hard Seltzer in Every State," I was sure that White Claw would dominate the list (including being the most popular in New Jersey).

Needless to say, I was surprised when I read the article and discovered that even though White Claw did in fact dominate the list, it was not the most popular hard seltzer in the Garden State.

Before I get to the actual results, a couple of things should be noted.

• Joybird is a company that sells home furnishings, so I'm not sure why they decided to do a study to find the most popular hard seltzers in each state.
• Joybird did not base its findings on sales.  Instead, they chose to base their findings on Google searches.

So if White Claw isn't New Jersey's favorite hard seltzer, what is?  According to Joybird, Bud Light Hard Seltzer is tops in NJ.  Interestingly, Bud Light Hard Selter is only the favorite in 3 states and the other 2 are New Jersey's neighboring states, Pennsylvania and New York.
