Princeton is home to the most expensive Airbnb rentals Mercer County, I just found after searching available properties in New Jersey. So I wanted to find out a little more about our area.

According to NJ.com, Airbnb rentals in New Jersey accounted for $133 million in revenue and it should come as no surprise that 40 percent of that revenue came from rental properties on the Jersey Shore and close to New York City.

When you break down revenue by county, Hudson was ranked #1 with $57 million.  Cape May, Ocean and Atlantic ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.  Mercer County rentals accounted for $3 million in revenue, making it the 9th most profitable Airbnb county in the state.

So what about our area? Well, those expensive properties in Princeton include a 4-bedroom home that, at $2,089/night. That is actually the priciest rental in the county. So, what does $2,089/night get you?  Let's take a look:
