The Shamrock Shake at Mcdonald’s is Back and You Can Win a Golden One

It's that time of year. The Shamrock Shake is officially back at McDonald's. To celebrate the return of the legendary green milkshake, the fast-food restaurant is giving away a diamond-encrusted 18-karat gold Shamrock Shake cup. It's being called the Golden Shamrock Shake.

In honor of the 50^th anniversary of the iconic Shamrock Shake, McDonald’s is auctioning this gold cup that is worth about $90K and took jewelers 140 hours to complete it. According to McDonalds Newsroom, there are also 50 yellow diamonds to symbolize the McDonalds golden arches. All of the diamonds with the significant number 50 for the 50 years the shamrock shake has been selling.

According to McDonald's Newsroom, McDonald’s launched the auction on EBay and will go on until 5 am on March 6h. The bid is currently well over $30k. The proceeds to the auction will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities to serve children and families by promoting togetherness all over the world.
