Parts Of The Movie 'Shazam!' Are Set In Philly

DC's newest superhero movie Shazam! is set in Philadelphia, but it actually includes some footage from Philadelphia.

That being said, the film was primarily shot in Canada (at a variety of locations that include Pinewood Toronto Studios and the University of Toronto,) according to Philly Voice.

Philly wasn't completely ignored as there are some scenes that feature famous Philly landmarks and scenery.

Some of the famous Philly things you'll see featured in the movie include:

The LOVE sculpture
The "Rocky" steps in front of the art museum
and you'll even see a character with a bag from Geno's Steaks

How cool is that? I love when I see local things featured in movies. People from other parts of the country, or even the world, might not realize what these features are or where they come from, but us locals can pick out the Philly-related aspects right away!
