This $25 Million Center City Penthouse Just Set a New Price Record
Ever wonder what it’s like to have the best view in Philadelphia? Well, we were browsing Zillow.com and found this $25 million penthouse on the 1900 block of Walnut Street in Center City, Philadelphia.
The 4 bedroom, 6 bath condo is 8,666 square feet in total is located inside the brand new Laurel (in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of the city). The condo, which is priced at $25 million, is on the 48th floor of the new luxury condo building.

At an asking price of $25 million, the Laurel’s penthouse sets a record as the most expensive residential property listed in Philadelphia. Back in 2016, an 8,900 square foot bi-level penthouse (located at 500 Walnut) sold for $17.85 million, according to a report from Philadelphia Magazine. The Laurel’s penthouse offers 360-degree views of Philadelphia and it has five outdoor terraces. “It’s offered as a blank canvas to allow the most discerning buyer an opportunity to create a home that will be uniquely theirs and include everything on their must-have list,” according to the listing.

If you were wondering, Zillow estimates the homeowners association fees to be at $9,532 a month. The site's mortgage calculator estimates the monthly payment for the property would be just over $133,000.
