This Local Restaurant Was Just Named One of the Best Al Fresco Restaurants in the Country

While many New Jersey restaurants offer outside dining, only one of those eateries made the list of the best in the country.

Rat's Restaurant at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton Township was just named one of the best outdoor dining restaurants in the country by OpenTable.

The list, which featured the top 100 restaurants for outdoor dining across the country, was based on votes from OpenTable users. More than 12 million reviews were tallied for more than 30,000 restaurants across the country.

One of the reviewers for Rats said:

"We love the food and the ambiance. This time we sat on the patio in perfect weather with a view to the water,” “Beautiful, artistic, very different a work of art itself. Great menu, beautiful views of the grounds outside, but make reservations early!”

Another review said:

"As usual the Rats was amazing. We had a wonderful meal and the service is outstanding. Our table was in a prime location as well. We love this place. Worth the money and the trip.”

Now, I guess I have to go take a visit to Rat's.
