This Princeton Film Festival Returns This Spring

If you're a fellow film buff, you'll be happy to know that you don't have to go all the way to New York or Los Angeles to enjoy a film festival, because we have a pretty fancy one right in Trenton NJ!

Returning for the 7th year this Spring, The Nassau Film Festival in Trenton will be held May 21-22, 2022 at the Princeton Garden Theatre, located at 160 Nassau St. And if you can't make it to that, no worries! The two-day in-person event will then be followed by a virtual film festival, running from May 23 all the way until June 8!

If you have an appreciation for short and international films, this will be heaven for you. The film festival will feature short films and music videos in the genres of fiction, documentary, animation, student fiction, horror, music videos, trailers, and episodic, according to their website. So there's something for everyone!

But the fun doesn't stop at just screening the films. Best Of Film Awards will be awarded to filmmakers in each category, and panel discussions will be held with where you can interact and ask questions with everyone who was involved in making your favorite films. It's also a great networking opportunity for film students or those wanting to get a foot into the film industry.

Tickets range from $10-$35 depending on which days you plan on attending if you plan to make a donation to go towards the Lisa Goldstein Education Foundation. You can buy your tickets HERE. 

And even if you're not into film festivals, don't be shy to make a movie date night at the Princeton Garden Theater. It's member-supported and they specialize in arthouse, foreign, and classic film, according to their Facebook page.  And It's been around since 1920!
