To the person trying to reconnect with his/her long lost lover - I saw what you wrote on Craigslist and I have some advice for you.

Wait a second...

You’re telling me you wrote this missed connection on Craigslist to a person you actually know?!

Call me crazy, but I think you might have a better chance of getting in touch with this person if you just….I don’t know… look them up on the world wide web. Facebook, LinkedIn, a phone book, anything besides Craigslist will probably work. Or, if you have their phone number, a simple text or phone call might work as well. Just spitballing here.

Here’s my advice to you,

I think you are going about this the wrong way. If you really want to reconnect with this person, get off Craigslist and find a way to actually connect with them in real life.
