The Trenton Thunder's 2020 season has been officially canceled, according to a press release posted on Twitter, due to the ongoing coronavirus health crisis.

I know what you're thinking...now what are you going to do with all the tickets you already bought? Don't worry. You can get a credit by filling out this form. But, If you have individual game tickets you can exchange them for any game next season (2021), based on availability. Thunder Makes members and already booked groups will get a credit for the 2021 season.

This is so disappointing. I look forward to going to a few games every season. It's close to home and so much fun watching the on-field games, grabbing a drink and some food, hanging out with friends, and of course, seeing the Thunder's adorable bat dog, Rookie. He's sad that the season's canceled too. Awwww.

Here's something to look forward to in 2021. Dash, their new bat puppy will be ready to go for next season. I can't wait. The Thunder is also promising tons of fun like the new "Thummers" Parade, which will be after the first inning. Boomer and some new mascots will parade around the stadium. That's sounds fun. I wonder what the new mascots will be. You can check out more of what to expect here.

General Manager and COO of the Trenton Thunder, Jeff Hurley said, "We are disappointed to share with our fans and partners that the 2020 season has been canceled due to COVID-19. Our staff is already making exciting plans for your Trenton Thunder baseball to return Bigger, Better and Safer than ever in April 2021. We look forward to hosting all the smiles at the newly upgraded ARM & HAMMER Park, home of the best entertainment in the region in a very safe environment."
